Lopez Tijerina Established the Alianza Federal de Mercedes Reales in New Mexico. Tijerina was an evangelist, along with his wife, explains what he did about his movement. His movement was about the Land Grant Movement. Rodolfo Corry established another movement Gonzalez and the crusade for justice. Another movement was about the Chicano youth and liberation conference. It talks about El Plan Espiritual de Azatlan. It’s very sad how it was a conspiracy to disturb the peace and it was a misdemeanor. This was very unfair for these students. It’s even more unfair about the conspiracy made it a felony. Another thing I didn’t like about this chapter too, it was how they killed Ruben Salazar who was an activist in Los Angeles. He did very important role for the communities, very unfair how they shot him in the head. This part of the book got my attention so much is unbelievable.
