These students were activists from UMAS members of the Brown Berets for the antipoverty, workers, publishers, of a local Chicano news paper and Lincoln high school. It’s very sad how it was a conspiracy to disturb the peace and it was a misdemeanor. This was very unfair for these students. It’s even more unfair about the conspiracy made it a felony. Another thing I didn’t like about this chapter too, it was how they killed Ruben Salazar who was an activist in Los Angeles. He did very important role for the communities, very unfair how they shot him in the head. This part of the book got my attention so much is unbelievable.
