Genre:The genre of this story is fiction.I say this because in Lord of the Flies a group of British schoolboys go on a adventure by themselves and build their own society out of nothing in a tropical island without any adults on the island.Also I say this because William Golding included things that are savagery for kids.

Point of view:The point of view of Lord of the Flies is omniscient.

Protagonists:The protagonist of Lord of the Flies is Ralph,Piggy,Jack,Eric and Sam,Roger, and Simon.Ralph is the leader of their society and he is the most athletic out of everyone.Piggy is the boy that is intelligent and he has asthma and he has a weight problem but he works through threw it.Ralph and Piggy is that their relationship is no where close.For

They're afraid of a "beast" somewhere on the island, and then they decide to build a signal fire using the glasses of Piggy. But Jack, decides the boys should pay attention to their energies to hunting food instead of making the fire. The longer they're on the island, the more rude and crazy he becomes. Meanwhile Simon, works with Ralph to build shelters. Eventually these hidden problems starts to become open , and the boys who are supposed to be tending the fire skip out on their jobs to kill a pig. The blood of the hunt is all very exciting until they realize that, while they were out being bloodthirsty boys, the fire went out and a ship passed by without noticing them.
