1. In the socialist economic system, people had no incentive to work. No matter how much effort they put into what they were doing they were always going to get the same amount as everybody else. So, they would rather bowl in the streets that spend all day doing exhausting work in a field. Then when the new governor came and changed the system, people did have an incentive. Now is they spend all day bowling the three acres that the governor gave them to farm would not be harvested and they would starve. So, with this new incentive to work, everybody starting harvesting their crops and the starving time ended.

Although the lotter system may not be fair, it is the most efficient way of doing things. With this system, the family doesn’t have to sort through all 1.6 million application. They just leave it up to chance and the 17,500 people who win are the people who get the tickets.
c. Because they family set up the lottery system online, it discriminates against people who cannot access the internet, or don’t know who to sign up for the lottery. The lotter system also discriminates the people who want to attend the funeral the most. A better system would be to, keep the lottery but have the contestants fill out some sort of quiz to see if they are true fans then have them submit their entry by mail.
d. No, with the lottery system there is a high opportunity cost, because the family misses out on the money they could have made by selling the tickets. Instead of giving them away for free in one large lottery pool. They could have sold each ticket individually and made money from each ticket they sold.
e. I think that the lottery system is the best way to do it, but I think a few things needed to be changed. Like instead of having the contestants enter online, they should put their applications in by mail, that way there is less discrimination. They should also fill out a questionnaire, or quiz to determine if they are true fans or
