Scientific concept of love

Defining love is difficult, but scientists have a way to describe it. They believe that love involves 3 special neurotransmitters: “Dopamine” which makes you feel great and wanting more of that thing; “Adrenaline” when the stress levels rise and it increases in your blood, causing sweaty palms; and “Serotonin” causing the person to feel nervous or anxious. They state also that there are chemicals called “Pheromones” that are released from humans and cause attraction between them, involving the 5 senses. And finally, there’s “Norepinephrine” which makes your heart beat faster.

In this essay, I made a survey, in which I asked 20 people which of the 3 phrases I gave them best describes love for them. The options were: A) “A purpose of human life, no matter who is controlling it, is to love whoever is around to be loved.” B) “Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get – only with what you are expecting to give – which is everything.” C) “What is love but acceptance of the other, whatever he is.” The final results were: 10 votes for A, 6 votes for B, and 4 votes for C. According to this, most of the people think the phrase A is the most accurate to describe love. We can infer that this people think that love is the purpose of life, loving anyone that we feel affection
