Love has a definition—a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person—but yet has so many different meanings. Thesauruscoping demonstrates the different meanings in which the word Love can deliver. The synonym of Love, Adoration, does not necessarily mean that these words have the same meaning. The definition of Adoration is the act of paying honor, as to a divine being or to worship. These words can be isolated from each other by meaning because they are two different descriptions. Love is an emotion and Adoration is a way of acting towards another. Love is most likely to get along with anybody because he never has anything negative to say and is friendly to whoever approaches him. He puts other people’s desires and needs before his own. Personification gave Love human-like qualities making the word more understandable.
An unknown author quoted love: “True Love burns the brightest, but the brightest flames leave the deepest scars.” In this quote, the author is not only trying to warn the readers about love, but also to inform that love is very strong and important in people’s lives. This quote is explaining that being in love is one of the greatest feelings, but when it all comes to an end, the great feeling drops rapidly to feeling the worst. The scars indicate the memories that were experienced in a certain love and will stay with them forever. The memories may have been the greatest but the scars leave a big impact on a person’s life. For example, there were two people madly in love with each other. They did everything together and there was nothing to get in their way of loving each other. Until one day, as they grew older, one person from the happy couple passed away, leaving a heart broken person behind. Being left with the memories, with no one to share them with, must have been the hardest experience throughout the relationship.
