In William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the characters Romeo and Juliet fall in love even though their families are enemies. Although their families hate each other, they both do not let that get in the way of their love for one another. They both choose to stay together even though they know that if any of their family members found out it could destroy their relationship and possibly strengthen the hate that their families have for one another.
