The bright sun glared through the window, Bree stumbled to her feet. It was her 16th birthday, she was so excited, She was a bit scared. She heard a familiar wheezing noise and bent down to find her pet raccoon asleep. She reached into coarse fur and picked him up gently. Rocky was her best friend, it wasn't like she had any friends. It wasn't as bad as she thought it was, but the worst was the concussion, very now and then she would get light headed and have to rest, but she had to find Lucinda. Lucinda had torn everything away from her, her family was her whole life. She was following Lucinda’s trail, for she had not expected anyone to follow her. All of the sudden Lucinda’s tracks disappeared. Bree looked all around, but she saw no tracks.
