He received a Nobel prize for his hard work and commitment to making a change. Here lies the story of Luis Federico and his discoveries throughout the sugar nucleotides.

Childhood Luis Federico was born in Paris, France on September 6, 1906. He lived with his parents, Hortensia Aguirre de Leloir and Federico Leloir, in Paris for 2 years. Federico Leloir was a non-practicing lawyer and his wife was the woman of the house. They had come,to Paris for medical treatment when Luis’s father passed away. Later on, he packed his items with his now widow mother and fled to Buenos Aires, Argentina to live with his extended family(Childhood & Early Life). As he grew up with his family, he graduated from the University of Buenos Aires Medical School in 1932. Luis Federico states that no one from his family has ever been a scientist. The thought didn't run through the family, but he had a sudden interest and decided to pursue it. Afterwards, he began his scientific career with Bernando A. in the Institute of Physiology.

Luis may have went through hard times as a child, but he showed us all something. As he stated that no one from his family were a scientist and that it was his own interest. Yet, that didn't stop him from pursuing his dream and having to move place to place. He taught us how to be healthy, wrote about medical information and etc. Luis and everyone around worked together as a team to accomplish and complete their studies,goals,ect. We as all human should stick together and ignore all the doubters, because in the end we are who we are and Luis Federico taught, inspired, and did so much more for
