“Since when do I care about anyones happiness but mine?” Sometimes villains are not always the monsters they show themselves as in movies or books, but some are completely like in the movies. Pernicious, rotten, and cruel, but who is the most dishonorable out of Lunar Queen Levana from the Cinder Series by Marissa Meyer, or Poseidon from none other than Homer's Odyssey?
Poseidon in Homer’s Odyssey is by far the most evil of the gods in the whole book, and is responsible for about 50% of Odysseus's troubles getting home to Ithaca. Some people may think that gods are good, and that they benefit people 100% of the time, but really, they can just be a pain for everyone. Poseidon is the god of the sea, and he becomes angry

Levana is the queen of Luna (the moon), meaning she is a Lunar, and they can manipulate people and make themselves look different. Initially, Levana is dangerous and evil because she is manipulative. She kept a hold of her people by tricking both their minds and their hearts. (Meyer). This shows that instead of earning respect from her people the way that you should, by helping people like Princess Winter, she tricks their minds into thinking she is a good leader they should respect. Evil, right? Could not forget, Levana had been hurt in the past, making her vengeful and deprived. In the book, “She was lying in a burning pyre, hot coals beneath her back. White sparks floated in her vision but the mercy of unconscious would not come.” (Meyer). This proves that Levana was not always the monster she is in the part of the book that was present, because her sister controlled her, making her stick herself in a fireplace. Last but not least, Levana is very cruel. Meyer said, “Since when do I care about anyones happiness but mine?” (Meyer). Levana had killed millions of people all over the world, and had even sent her mutant wolf/human soldiers to it for her. Even attempting to killing Cinder, her sister's daughter, when she was barely a
