After watching the
Luther
, there were a few scenes that stuck out to me. The very first scene that showed Martin Luther in the middle of a thunderstorm. The main reason that this part of the movie was memorable for me was because it was I thought it was a good way to start a movie that seemed like it may be boring. Also, it gave a reason for
Martin Luther to commit the rest of his life to God, rather than the movie starting with him already as a monk/professor. Another memorable moment of the movie was when
Luther posted his 95 theses. This part of the movie was was memorable to me because it showed how Luther was pointing out all of the problems with the Catholic church and how the common people were being fooled by the powerful church officials as a way of the church making money. The last scene that really stood out to me was when the other lords stood up to the Pope, stating that they would continue to teach Luther's books in their churches. This was a very important part of the movie because if they had not stood firm, then Lutheranism may not have been created and the Catholic church may have never been reformed. Because of these scenes and a few other, I think that
Luther
was a good movie to watch. The acting wasn’t bad and the plot of the movie was made interesting by the different events that occurred. I believe that this movie was a good way to learn about the reformation. It included all of the major events that took place and how they started, which made it easier to understand and follow. the true meaning of everything that Martin Luther did. One event that was clearly explained, although not at first, was Luther's 95 theses. I thought that it was pretty well
