In the dramas Macbeth and Death of a Salesman, the characters, Willy Loman and Macbeth are led by their controlled ambition, which falsely changed their reality,ultimately destroying

them. Macbeth's ambition to become a successful salesman blinded him of his consciousness,

alongside with Willy Loman. Whose ambition and wish to become a successful salesman

blinded him of his morals and consciousness. Both Willy and Macbeth are guilty of allowing

their ambition to create a drift between relationships with loved ones. Once Macbeth rose to the

throne, his relationship with his wife changed completely for the worst. As with Willy Loman, he

allowed his ambition of wanting to become a successful salesman collide with his family life.
