Macbeth’s dramatic transition from an honorable and honest man to an blood seeking and corrupt masterbind was indeed the most important event to happen in Macbeth but it also confused a lot of readers of why he commit this manly due to the use of old english which blindsided a lot of readers.
If we take a step back from Macbeth and analyse how society was back then, we can obviously see that fame redefines how people think about people and themselves. This is represented by how King Duncan honors Macbeth the title; “Thane of Cawdor” after the bloody fight that Macbeth has endured alone. Now, being familiarized with the kind of society Macbeth took place, we can immediately understand the reason behind all of the choices Macbeth made.
