Do you believe someone can predict your future? In the play "Macbeth" the witches prophesied Macbeth’s fate which led to his quest for power. Some would say that Macbeth had full control of his actions. In scene 1 the witches foretell Macbeth’s destiny of becoming Thane of Cawdor and then king. The witches are to blame for the tragedy in the play Macbeth.
The witches are the ones that told him of his fate. They appear to Macbeth three times to tell him of what will become of his life. With the witches interference Macbeth did unspeakable things. The witches also told Banquo that his kin would be king. Macbeth took this information and decided to kill Banquo and Fleance.
