Reason Case was accepted for Investigation:
On 3/13/2018, Hennepin County Child Protection accepted a report alleged physical abuse of Michaela –Louise by Darryl Hollins DOB 2/14/79. Per reporter Darryl Hollins called mother Janauary Hollins and said that Michaela-Louise has a scratch on her forehead. Per reporter Mr. Darryl asked mother if she saw the scratch before she left for work at 6:00 AM. Per reporter Ms. Hollins had not observed any scratches on her newborn baby Machaela-Louise prior to her leaving for work. Per reporter Mr. Darryl stated that maybe it was an indent in Machaela-Louise’s forehead from her pacifier. Per reporter at 2:00 pm father told mother that the scratch on Machaela-Louise’s head was gone. Per reporter Mother returned home a little before 7:00 PM and noticed a big bruise on the left side of Michaela-Louise’s forehead. Ms. Hollins stated that Darryl watched the baby twice since they had Machaela Elaine Hollins. She reported that there was no concerns when he babysit the 1st time. The second time she said she left to work at Bill Hicks early in the morning under the care of her father Mr. Darryl. Ms. Hollins reported that she left 6:15am to work and put her baby down next Mr. Darryl. She reported that there was body pillow both side of the baby to protect her. She reported that her daughter Machaela was sleeping in king side mattress next to her father. She reported that there was no marks or bruises on her baby body or face at that time. She reported that she got a call from Mr. Darryl stating that Machaela has a scratch on her forehead. Ms. Hollins responded saying, “there was no scratches when I left the baby with you.” She reported that he called her around 2 pm with picture saying that scratch is
