There are other ways that schools can teach students that does not involve sitting in a classroom. For example in the documentary “Mad Hot Ballroom Documentary” it shows how ballroom dancing can be beneficial to a student. It shows how it creates interaction between the boy and the girls and creates relationships and friendships, also how they mature a little quicker because the competition, and how it brings them out of their comfort zone. The teacher Reynoso said “ I like this program because it gives the one’s who didn’t dance when they were younger a new experience” which the experience is letting them try something new, maybe fall in love with it and make them realize what they want to do when they are older.
