Some were inspired by their parents and other adults, and other teen activist got inspired by their own experiences. Even though for normal people like us, we might think that the world is great the way it is already, activist still think that there’s a still sky above the clouds. Malala and Alex Lin both think there is a still sky above the clouds. Malala thinks that because she cares and fights for women’s rights and so that girl’s could have a good education. Alex Lin thinks that because he is trying to fight against E-waste (Electronic waste). Teen activists possess similar character traits. Teen activism is youth engagement in community organization for social change. To become a teen activist you must become inspired then you have to try and get the word out and then most importantly you have to take steps towards meeting your goal. One way Malala is brave is that, a lot of times people want to interview and bring her up on stage, to talk in front of hundreds of people, sometimes thousands, and she agrees to do that. Also she is brave because she got shot in the head, and everyone is asking questions about it, when most people don’t want to share, she is putting the word out about her life story. Alex Lin is brave because he speaks on Television and different shows, sometimes he talks in the court about his Brower Youth Award.
