Malala is a hard worker and excited about school kind of a girl that can never be terrorized into leaving her education. Malala is a teenaged girl whose dad is the principle of the girl’s school and lives in Pakistan, before the Taliban came her village lived in peace. After walking to the bus after school and boarding imagine your younger brother refusing to board because the bus was full of girls and walked home, then as the bus is a few minutes away from your house a man stops it and boards and asks “Who is Malala?” then only darkness. That is what Malala experienced. Don’t let others define you, stand up for what is right, be yourself, speak out for what’s right
Malala, after all of the threats and bans from girls going to school, kept up learning.

Malala’s father was the principle of the school and received a note accusing the school of being “Western and infidel. You teach girls that have a uniform that is un-Islamic. Stop this or you will be in trouble and your children will weep and cry for you”(p.51). However her father still encouraged her to go to school.
Malala also spoke for girls rights to reporters and on tv. One day the Pashto TV gave Malala’s class a chance to speak their minds about girl education and about the taliban (p. 70-71). A reporter wanted inside information on what was happening in Pakistan only Malala was brave enough to start a diary about everything she used a pseudoname so the Taliban wouldn’t know it was her (p. 75-76). When she became famous reporters kept asking about her getting shot when she wanted to talk about girls education
