Although Malcom X may have faced many obstacles throughout his life, his achievements significantly outweigh them. Malcom had quite a quiet early life compared to his adulthood though a small win could have been his ability to focus in school and acquire a decent enough education. This education may not have gone a long way for most black Americans at the time; however, he developed a talent for public speaking that would enable him to become an icon along with Martin Luther King Jr. who would go on to represent the black race in the US. Speaking to dozens, hundreds, thousands then hundreds of thousands, Malcom slowly gained a following and his audience began to grow even faster after appearances on various talk shows and debates. Arguably, his largest triumph may have been bringing a huge amount of attention to the race split in the US starting (alongside Martin Luther King Jr. who led a different approach) a new era in the US in terms of civil and human rights. After a split with the NOI, Malcom founded two of his own organization, titled the Organizations of Afro-American Unity and the Muslim Mosque Inc.
