In the speech Malcom X’s speech, “The Ballot or the Bullet” he uses many styles of Rhetoric to convince the audience of his ideas. The whole purpose of this address was to empower the black community to stand up and fight back the American government and put an end to oppression. He effectively uses Pathos by saying that if you don’t stand up and fight for civil rights now that in the future your children will be ashamed for what you didn’t fight for.
