There are a million reasons to love animals, but here is one more! According to multiple sources, animals have been identified doing some things that could be a hint or warning before natural disasters. Some owners have seen animals acting unusually before one of these disasters occured. Also, there is scientific reasoning behind it. Animals can predict natural disasters because, they flee from their usual spots, sense low vibrations, and act strangely. Firstly, animals have been seen fleeing from their territory. In the story, “Can Animals Sense Earthquakes”, it states, “Historians recorded that animals including rats, snakes, and weasels deserted the Greek city of Helice in droves just before a quake devastated the place.” This shows that animals would leave their usual homes because they could sense that there would be an earthquake or other natural disaster coming.
