Marathon Dance Research Paper

One extremely important event that has changed my life, and I emphasize extremely, is the South High Marathon Dance, also know as SHMD. My high school, South Glens Falls Senior High, has our annual marathon dance every March that draws in thousands of people from all over the world. Well over eight-hundred students participate in the twenty-eight hour-long dance each year. The marathon dance committee, other dancers and myself, pick approximately forty to forty-five different recipients each year, to receive the money we have raised over the month's prior. This past year my school raised $621,680.15 for forty-six different beneficiaries. Over the past 38 years the school has raised $4.82 million in total, helping 366 causes.
