Ever since middle school I found that I had a huge interest in science, mostly chemistry and animal life. Wanting to know more about animal lives has always interested me. Since this stuff continued to keep my attention, I did some reasearch and ended up finding the job that I wanted. I have wanted this job since seventh grade. A personal goal I hope to achieve one day is to become a Marine Biologist.
A Marine Biologist is the career path I want for many reasons. One of which is because I have always had an interest in marine life and the lives of such animals. The differences between human and animal life, especially those of sea animals, is astounding. There is so much to learn, which is always a good thing. In order for me to make this dream happen, I am going to have to do many things, and one of them is to truly commit to this goal. I need to make sure that this is what I want to become and where my priorities lie. Also, I must keep doing extra work outside of school. If I keep doing work outside of school, I will have more knowledge on this job to help give me a competitive advantage in the future. Despite the fact that I can do all these things to help myself achieve this goal, there are still going to be many challenges. Every job is going to have its challenges and obstacles, but with more complex jobs, like a Marine Biologist, I am going to have more challenges to face. One challenge is that I have a hard time focusing, so having to be able to do everything would be a huge struggle. With so many things being thrown at me, I would have to work on focusing and completing tasks. Another challenging thing would be the amount of time it would take. The amount of schooling to become a Marine Biologist is immense, and to find a job right out of college is not easy. Even after finding a job, it could be difficult to
