Turn on any television, your computer or even your radio and some way or another there it will be. You may catch it flipping thru the channels or it may catch you by popping up on your computer screen. One thing is certain, the marketing madness will catch you. The marketing strategy companies use today prey upon the majority of people looking to find that quick fix. Companies do this by the all too familiar before and after photos and "real" testimonies from “real" people. How could they be wrong when the pictures are there to prove everything these companies are saying? Every once in a while we come across the inevitable famous diet guru or television Doctor whose face is plastered all over these ads, again further reassuring us these products work.
I have fallen victim to marketing madness from diet pills to wrinkle creams to the latest work out that guarantees if I followed there program just 20 minutes a day, I would look just like the tiny model on the company's advertising page. We all want that quick fix, to take a pill and get skinny. This is where my story begins.
I was drawn in by all the testimonials and before and after photos. I read all the ingredients which were all natural. I bit the hook and was reeled in. I immediately lost weight. I lost a total of 30 pounds. I weighed 106 pounds when I was admitted in to the hospital for chest pain. I am 5'3 so I was underweight.
