“Riordan Manufacturing, Inc. is an industry leader in the field of plastic molding” (University of Phoenix, 2004). This firm has “state-of-the-art design capabilities that creates innovative plastic designs that are known internationally” (University of Phoenix, 2004). Riordan Manufacturing pays close attention to details that is their trademark. “Its products include plastic beverage containers produced at its plant in Albany, Georgia, custom plastic parts produced at its plant in Pontiac, Michigan, and plastic fan parts produced at its facilities in Hangzhou, China” (University of Phoenix, 2004). The company’s research and development at the corporate headquarters head quarters in San Jose. “Riordan’s major customers are automotive parts manufacturers, aircraft manufactures, the Department of Defense, beverage makers and bottlers, and appliance manufacturers” (University of Phoenix, 2004). Riordan Manufacturing has a separate Finance & Accounting system in each of the entities in Georgia, Michigan and, China.
