The Mars Rover is a robot that is automated to travel to Mars and discover the atmosphere, substance and even what could be life on the Red Planet. The rover is sent from the United States (other rovers have been sent from other countries including Russia and India).
The first rover was sent to study the Red Planet on July, 4th on 1997. The rover landed on July 6th 1997. A current rover mission is happening at this moment. The rover (Delta II 7925H) was sent on July 8th 2003 and landed on January 23, 2004. The rover’s mission is scheduled to be completed by 2018. A future mission is scheduled for 2020 for innovations being done for the current model including a better landing system.
