I would draw the conclusion that civil disobedience could be used as a good or bad thing. I also feel that violence is not the answer to any situation no matter what. I also feel that sometimes if force is given then you have to return it to get your point across. Violence is never the first choice though; you always should find other ways to handle problems. Parents sacrifice thing to better their children the right way, an example is sitting down and talking to them instead of beating their child. You would have to sacrifice your pride and dignity in order to practice “passive resistance”. Gandhi showed this trait by leading people in the Salt March which freed India from British rule. Martin Luther King Jr. showed this act by not letting people get to more freedom for Minority’s. There is always going to be negative aspects of life, especially when you are doing the right thing. When you are on track and speak up for yourself, instead of turning to guns or fighting people tend to dislike you. So in my opinion if you choose to practice passive resistant actions you have to be ready for the negative people that try to hurt you. At the end of the day I would choose being passive resistant over civil disobedience. Everyone deserves a positive role model someone that will make an impact for the rest of their life. I feel if people had this role model the world would change so much. For an example, children without a father are twice as likely to drop out of
