Peaceful Protests have Impacts Too
Martin Luther King is one of the most well known people to take a stand in history for the many ways he was able to lead a peaceful protest, get the voice of him and his people heard, and make a lasting difference for the African American community. Martin Luther King was born in Atlanta Georgia in 1929 to teacher Alberta King and Baptist minister, Michael Luther King. He graduated high school at the age of only 15 years old and entered into Morehouse College shortly thereafter. At Morehouse College, Martin Luther King receives his BA in sociology at age 19. Following this ever going stream of fast-paced events, Martin Luther enrolled in Boston University Ph.D program. During his time at Boston University, Martin Luther King met his wife Coretta Scott and they eventually had 4 children together. He also became the minister of Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama in 1954. All these events eventually led up to Martin Luther receiving his Ph.D from Boston University in 1955. All these events happened when Martin Luther was only 26 years old.
