Education is very important not matter what ethnicity, age or color one is. Education tends to be another source of communication, people can communicate through their writing, math skills, scientific studies and even art. Mary Mcleod Bethune is a very important person when it comes to education especially in the African American community. Education has always been apart of her even at a young age. She didn’t let anything or anyone stop her from reaching her goals.in the 1800 women were not often seen as educators, men were the ones in control. Her goal was to make sure that the children of the African American community were able to learn and not feel like the can’t because of the color of their skin. She encouraged black children to go to school and instilled in them that education was important. She went through a lot of struggled in her personal life and life in general, yet she still made a way to keep her school up because there were not many schools for black children to attend. It is educators like Bethune that keep students in school and want to strive for the better. In society today there are tons of young people that try to become famous to make money, become a musician and they tend to put school on the back burner. No matter what someone wants to be in their life education will always be important. Sometimes it is not all about the money, they should want to be educated so that they know how to manage their money, to be cable to have communication skills, and to understand what is happening in the world around them. Education is taken for granted and often there are many people that end up going back to school because it may have took them awhile to realize how important it is. Most of the time it can be very hard to get a decent paying job without having some form of education, especially a college degree.
