What it takes to be a “HERO”? Power? Masculinity? Awesomeness? Or simple “Strength?” but what is true strength? Is it the ability to move boulders? Carry large loads? Or the ability to resist and endure physical pain? Maybe, but for me true strength is the ability of a person to overcome his own fear, it a burning desire to win, to rise above in despite of struggles. This for me I believe to be the true characteristics of a Hero.
Beowulf, the hero in the story possesses this characteristic. He traveled far lands in order to fight monsters for the sake of others.His bravery in fighting those monsters without fear for the sake of the lives of many people even though he lose his own life is where I’m very amazed.
