There are many similarities between the Maya, Aztec, and Inca Culture’s. One considerably factor would be how close they were and how each action one society did affected the others as well. Some of the similarities of these cultures would be the belief of many gods who controlled many aspect of daily life. So for each day to run as smoothly as possible there needed to be human blood spilled for the gods. These Cultures had many gods who could control the nature so every time something went wrong that meant that the gods needed blood. Most of the sacrificing where done in these grand temples for the god’s honor and viewing pleasure these gods demanded different methods of sacrifices. The Mayans on one hand sacrificed to the gods by draining blood on top of a temple. They perform this believing that it would give there god the strength to fight for them against the evil in the world. Mayans had a strong faith that if blood was not giving often than the world would be cast into darkness. The Aztecs where not that far off of the Mayans it’s just that the Aztecs where better at it.
