Readers can testify that Mayella has power because, she is white and at this time, whites had more power than African-Americans. In the three main points, race, class, and gender Mayella plays a big part in those three sections and it also plays a big part in whether she is powerful or not.
Mayella is a white female that accused an African-American(Tom Robinson), that he raped her. Now in Race, Mayella has a lot of power, at this African-Americans had no real say-so in anything around their area; they were at the bottom, they were always last for everything, they had to go to diffrent places to eat, drink, and stay. Mayella is white which says that is above the African-Americans, therefore she has power as it pertains to race.
