Measurement Lab

Objective:
To be able to make a scale drawing of the classroom(top view of the room) without using conventional device.

Procedure:
Choose a item as the measurement scale(10.5in*8in wide ruled notebook)
Use the notebook to measure the length and width of all the object in the room.
Line up the bottom of the notebook at one of the edge of the object you want to measure.Put a mark beside the top of the notebook.
Move the notebook toward the other side of the object and stop when the bottom of the notebook reaches the mark you just made.(At this point, the distance that the notebook just passed through should be one unit)
Continue the last two steps until the top of the notebook reaches or pass the other side of the object. (If the notebook passed through the edge of the object, then you should make a estimate length by the notebook scale)
Count how many units has the notebook passed through, record the measurement.
Use the data to draw the top view of the room with a filler paper, count each unit as two grids(0.5cm)
