Topic sentence- meatless Monday is beneficial in many ways that include the decrease in greenhouse gases, the saving in water and having a healthy diet. First of all meatless reduces greenhouse gases because vegetables don’t produce much greenhouse gases leaving a balance which is beneficial. While meat produces more greenhouse gases which can be useful but it also has harmful effects when there’s too much of it. It can cause extreme weather events like tsunami, cyclones and glaciers are also melting rapidly causing rise in sea level.
It also minimizes the amount of water usage since it takes approximately 1,850 gallons of water for one pound of beef and only 39 gallons of water are needed to produce a pound of vegetables. Using less water
