STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
My passion towards engineering budded during my childhood when I used to hear inspiring stories about my late grandfather’s career as a seasoned Mechanical and Communications engineer with the Tank Division of the Indian Army. His old handwritten notes, calculations, and drawings that occupied a good half of my bookshelves intrigued me. In my personal dictionary, my grandfather and his papers are synonymous to greatness and intelligence. I aspired to become him someday. Today, here I am, pursuing my dream by applying for the Mechanical Engineering program in your esteemed university.
It was during my formative years at the SBOA Matriculation and Higher Secondary School that I realized my true potential. The initial couple of years at SBOA was challenging, as I had not faced much competition in academics in my previous school. However, those challenges helped me shape myself and made me grow both personally and academically. That I topped the school in the Higher Secondary examinations by scoring 98.3% stands testimony to my potential.

A Master’s degree, with a strong focus on Design and Manufacturing, will further my cause and help me realize my dreams. I eagerly look forward to pursuing my Master’s program in ¬¬¬Mechanical Engineering at the Texas A&M For an emerging engineer like me, working in the Energy and Combustion labs will be a truly enriching experience. I am sure that the rich curriculum and qualified faculty of the mechanical department will qualify me to pursue my dream-career. I have always believed in hard work, persistence and tenacity to achieve my goals and I assure you that I will do my best and more to make this association
