Since the 1950’s, more than seventy-five ships, boats, and planes have mysteriously disappeared from the Bermuda Triangle. The bermuda triangle is located off the coast of Miami, it is also known as the devil's triangle because people believe the devil steals the ships and planes that pass through the Bermuda. Additionally people believe aliens have taken the ships and planes. In reality, There is no “mystery” to the occurrences in the Bermuda Triangle: these strange disappearances are really the result of atmospheric/climatological conditions, mechanical failure, and human error.

Ships hulls were susceptible to corrosion and easy for the sea to break, but the most common mechanical failure was the engine in the ships they would often break leaving the ships stranded. Overall, research has shown that 75 plains,and hundreds of ships have been claimed by the”devil's triangle”due to faulty compasses in these machines also causing pilots and navigators to lose track of where they were going.
Human Error
Just as the weather and mechanical failure caused several so-called strange disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle, so has human error. While at sea it is very easy for a navigator to find themselves in a whirlpool, or lost in a fog and crash into another ship or even collide with an iceberg. It is very easy for a ships compass to break during a storm and leave the navigator lost at sea.
Finally, these so-called disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle are really no mystery at all. The Bermuda Triangle is not the devil’s playground, it is not an alien porthole to another dimension and it is not a haunted area in the Atlantic ocean.
