Medea unborn:

i attended the play Medea born at the Robert Melio Studio in Doraville Georgia on july 14 at 8 :00 pm. Ths play mainly talked about a woman called medea whose husband has married another woman who is the daughter of a king of their city which is corinth ,and order the expulsion of medea and her two sons. Medea then decide to take revenge from what her ex husband and his new wife, but things do not happen to go the way she expected.

There are Two moments that particularly stood out to me . The first moment is when medea has a conversation with her husband asking him to allow her and her two sons to spend one more day at corinth.Her intention , is to have enough time to put in place her plan of revenge. the two main characters in this scene are medea and her husband. the production has chosen the character of medea to be a woman who is not as good looking as she used to when she met her husband because she let herself go when she had their sons. above all we can see superficially, meaning the fact that she is reading to kill people among which her own sons just to make suffer her husband, i can feel that she is just a sad and angry woman that has seen her life fall apart and has the feeling that her life has been stolen and she is desperate and do not really know how to handle it. her main goal is to get revenge on her husband. she finally succeed but the consequences are not worth it as she kill someone to get her revenge. among the people killed in the process are her own son. One of the turning point of the play is the fact that the husband let her stay in corinth for one more night.has she had left that day, her wicked plan would have not succeed. the performer that interpreted medea has been chosen to look like a neglected woman but, above that i think that she is more than that because you need to be really smart to make such a plan in
