The Meherrin Tribe is located on the northeastern part of North Carolina. They speak a language that’s similar to the Tuscaror language. The spellings are Meherrin, Menheyricks, Maherine, Menherins, Meahearin, Meheren, Macherine, Maherring, Meherron, Maherin, Macharens, Mehorin, Meherring, Maherians, and Meharins. The Nansemond tribe and Chowanoke tribe were close with the Meherrin
