Melinda Weatherford: Manipulation In The Media

The topic that I am researching deals with manipulation in the media. I interviewed Melinda Weatherford, the Associate Dean of Learning Resources at LCC, who has an education in marketing and advertising in order to help my research in this topic. Weatherford worked in advertising for several years and knows the different tactics that advertisements use in order to capture an audience.
In the Interview, Weatherford told how she knows that manipulation in media does exist, and that there isn’t really a way not to have manipulation when trying to persuade someone. Weatherford talked about how much of the manipulation that goes on is based off of a biased agenda that people have and need support to achieve their goal. When asked if manipulation
