Mental illness is a serious disease that has been misunderstood for centuries. There aren’t many people that are aware of the many conditions that come with mental illness. Many are not educated on the severity and challenges of someone dealing with these illnesses on an everyday basis. A lot of people prey on the mentally ill and view them as a hindrance to helping in day to day society. This research article touches on the support systems that are prominently used in the mentality health community. The Arthur goal was to educate and inform those who were unaware of the different outlets that were available for those dealing with mental illness.

It brought to life that having options dealing with any diseases, but particularly with mental illness is wonderful. There were 6 different outlets but 3 in particular stood out as being useful worldwide. Dealing with day-to-day issues facing mental illness is a stressor for anyone. Good supportive conditions are great at having someone to help you along the way. The support systems in this particular study were great at giving an outline on the importance of having support systems to help those dealing with mental illness. This study examined why individuals enjoyed one support system over the other.
