The cultures of Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia develop into successful Civilizations because of their laws and their knowledge . In document 4 it tells you about the code of Hammurabi. In that document it states the code in the code its says a kind of law which is a way they did well. It caused peace because people were afraid to do anything that the code prohibited. In document 1 it tells you about how the Egyptians started close to the Nile River because it caused there to be fertile area so they could farm food and the water from the river helped.
