Racial profiling is a tool deemed to assist law enforcement in capturing criminals and law breakers. Especially when the security of Americans are threatened, racial profiling becomes more prevalent. The journalist Michelle Malkin stated, “When our national security is on the line, ‘racial profiling’- or more precisely, threat profiling based on race, religion, or nationality- is justified.” She declares that racial profiling is appropriate when the national security is threatened.
