Microplastic is affecting the aquatic creatures food web. Microplastic is really small pieces of plastic that kill the smallest fishes in the food web and without them many fish will starve. Microplastic is killing zooplankton which is a very small aquatic creature that will eat the microplastic which will slowly lead to its death. Without the zooplankton to feed the fish that eat them they will starve also the fish that eat them will starve as well for not getting enough food. Without zooplankton many other fish will starve. If those fish starve to death the others that eat them will to and it keeps on going until it comes to the fish we eat and some people won’t be able to eat enough as well.
