Middle School A middle school would be nice to have in Floyd County. 7th graders should not be going to school with preschoolers, and kindergarteners. A middle school would be great so kids could adapt to the surroundings. The age groups for sports, bullying and multiple other things. The middle school would create more jobs, and more kids feel safe in school, and sports. Elementary straight to high school? 7th graders have not had the experience in changing classes, the new teachers. In elementary school, the kids had teachers directing them to class. We had only 3 main classes, and they were all right next to each other. In 6th and 7th grade, the students knew every teacher, In high school, we didn’t know any of the teachers, where the classrooms were, when to switch classes. A middle school would help the students transition and adjust to high school with better …show more content…
A middle school could really decrease the chances of those things. Having close to the same age students would help the kids not be afraid of a 12th grader that the 8th graders at Floyd County High Sch go to school with. Having a school with 4 grades would help the students learn better, and less students means less teachers in that school, and that means the teachers can have a better relationship with the students. A middle school would help with bullying and getting to know the material.

8th graders should not be going to school with seniors for various reasons. Bullying and sports are just some examples. A middle school would help this community so much, jobs would be created and students would be going to school would fit perfect for this town, it could put Floyd on the map. Whether it is the jobs being created or how happy the students would be, a middle school would be one of the best things that has happened to our community here in Floyd
