Emily was eleven years old. She had blonde hair, blue eyes, and braces. Emily could be bright at times. Ms. Clark was the nicest teacher at Stoddert.
“Class”, said Ms.Clark, “can anybody tell me the steps to Scientific notation?
Emily said, “First you see what the numbers are then you add the zeros.”
“Very good Emily. You may grab a piece of candy”. It was time for the spelling test.
“Take out a pencil and a piece of paper, and then number it one to fifteen.” Anne and Ara were the only people who got all of the answers right on their tests. It was time for recess. “Table one, wow thank you , you may line up and so can the other tables.” 30 minutes later it was time for lunch. Mrs. Moison was on duty ”4th and 5th grades are way to loud, it is to be silent in the halls.’’ After lunch Ms.Clark gave a social studies project that was due on Next Tuesday. It was Tuesday morning.
“Emily and Kassidy that was a very good project.” We are going to take a test tomorrow”. Emily decided that she would act like she was sick so she wouldn’t have to take the test. Emily’s mom took the day off. Later Ms.Clark called.
