When it comes to product design, Minit-Lube provides high quality services and products that provide great value to the customer. Minit-Lube will achieve these missions because of differentiation cost-leadership, and response. Minit-Lube delivers services and products that are different because of their clean and efficient ways. Most auto repair shops do not keep white walls and are generally dirty. Also, very rarely can a customer be in and out of an auto repair service with their car fully serviced in under fifteen minutes, meaning its response is exceptional. Prices are not described, but from personal experience its safe to assume Minit-Lube offers its services at a substantially lower price compared to dealerships and other chain auto repair stations.
Minit-Lube has cheaper products but does not sacrifice quality when compared to dealerships, and better known services stations, such as Firestone or Sears. Minit-Lube does not sacrifice in quality with their services because their technicians are well trained, and customer’s expect to get their cars back fully serviced and clean. Minit-Lube makes it a priority to return the car with the inside vacuumed and the windows clean. In my experience shops like Minit-Lube and Jiffy Lube have many more locations than dealerships or Firestone, and even tend to set-up close to these higher end repair stations to give customers a cheaper, faster alternative.
