For many decades or even centuries there has been unfair treatment or disadvantages in the United States school system that have been bestowed to the minorities in education. There are multiple cases of said disadvantages coming to light education towards them. These disadvantages are a hindrance to many of minority’s high school graduation or succeeding in post-secondary education facilities. In this essay you will learn why there are many disadvantages and how minorities can overcome these challenges and disadvantages. They have racism going on through the school system and even the school building itself. In some other states or cities racial inequality is major there too. In Missouri the college the black students started to riot because they felt they were getting and unfair education. The whole school was one hold sports team was cancelled till everything was settled. Once officials found out who was over the racial occurrence in the school classes we resumed. The right to an equal educational opportunity is one of the most valuable rights you have. (Are Americans 1). Constitution requires that all kids be given equal educational opportunity no matter what their race, ethnic background, religion, and sex, whether they are rich or poor, citizen or non-citizen (Are Americans1). 7 out of 10 blacks say they are treated unequal, that about 70%. In some schools whether it’s New Orleans or out of state in schools where blacks outnumbered whites the school did not offer advanced classes (Hsieh1). 70% of white students attended schools where they offered a full range of math and science where too as 57% of blacks attended a school where it didn’t offer advanced classes (Clozel2). Classes such as Algebra II and Chemistry which are classes you need by right to graduate. It’s also a known fact from New Orleans that schools with majority white students provide better technology, books, got the money to provide a gym and football field.
