Whoever said that being a lifeguard is an easy summer job was very wrong. It's not just sitting in a chair and relaxing, the job can be very stressful at times. Some pools are a lot easier to manage than others, but all lifeguards are very well trained. They also work hard at what they do, because if they didn't people would not be safe in the pool. Being a lifeguard is hard work due to the fact that people do not like being told what to do.
