Misconduct in Public Schools I come from the Pee Dee area right on the cusp of the corridor of shame. What the corridor of shame is a group of rural schools in the state of South Carolina. One of these areas is the Dillon area which my grandmother worked in for almost thirty years. She has worked as a librarian and a secretary at the public school of J.V. Martin which is a public middle school in Dillon school district one. She has plenty of stories of misconduct in the school whether it is: back talking a teacher, skipping class, or fighting and other sorts of violence. She believes that in recent years there has been a rise in school violence compared to the past of the United States. But she has plenty of evidence to prove proclamation and it sounds very rational to believe. In the early 1970’s there was a high level of juvenile crime. Then was a major decrease in juvenile crimes in the late 1970’s to the early 1980’s before the year 1987. When it comes to violent video games it real can change a young child by making them more aggressive. According to Almond a child who plays violent video games aggression has a forty-two percent increase, and it may cause physical violence. So we can that is one reason why a child maybe come more aggressive towards children. But how does bullying affect school violence?
