Racism is a serious issue that humans have dealt with when having a disagreement with others nationalities. These conflicts often deal with skin color. Differences in social classes and cultures reflect how society does not understand and relate to minority races in many communities. Racism has been in existence since the beginning of time. Conflicts with racism has birthed numerous movements movements in the 1900’s by not only negro citizens, but also by other races of people including President Lyndon B. Johnson and Dr. Martin Luther King who have empowered this great movement so dramatically. Martin Luther King used society as a good example on why he thinks every man should be created equal, “We hold these truths to be self service, that all men are created equal”. Based upon his quote Dr. King uses words like self service and equal to better prove his point. Throughout I have Dream, he quotes his purpose that in order for a change to occur, we must go through many challenges. When supporting segregation there is a risk that every man endures pain. Dr. King explained that we must endure the pain in order to become strong. Martin Luther King also believed the world must come together based on this quote “One day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers”.This passage supports the assertion by putting a positive effect on the segregation of act.
