Heroes
The three most important types of heroes are epic heroes, heroes described by the ancient Greeks, and the modern heroes of today. An epic hero is someone who embodies the values of his or her culture. In ancient Greek minds a hero is someone that has a very smart mind and can come up with nice plans. In modern day heroes are described as someone who helps people above all, and has made a huge contribution for the community.
An epic hero has many attributes such as a lot of skill. They also have a lot of courage and bravery. Iron man is a very good example of an epic hero. He is an epic hero because he never gives up and he does what he loves to do and that is building robots. He also likes to help people and save the day. Iron man meets …show more content…
One of them would be having a very smart mind to come up with plans. An example would be the god Odysseus. Odysseus was the one who came up with the idea of the Trojan horse. He was also one of the few Greeks to reach his homeland of Ithaca, after 10 years of war and 10 years of troubles at sea. There are a lot of different kinds of modern day heroes. Some people would see fire fighters, cops, and military as modern day heroes. All of those are people who are willing to risk their life to save another. A modern day hero can be anyone or anything that can make a positive change in someone’s life. An example would be a firefighter; they go into fires and save people. The firefighter would be looks at as a hero because he made a positive impact on someone’s life or even many people’s lives. The three important types of heroes in epic heroes, heroes described by ancient Greeks and modern day heroes can be looked at in many different ways. Modern day heroes have the most heroes because anyone can be one because you don’t have to do something very difficult or be superhuman. In epic heroes not everyone has a culture or is willing to sacrifice all they have for it. In heroes described by the Greeks probably have the least because of not everyone can have a really smart mind and come up with smart plans. They also cannot all complete a very difficult task.
